Debra Barnes Snodgrass, assistant professor of music at Missouri Southern State University, will play a Faculty Piano Recital at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 in Corley Auditorium in Webster Hall.

The program will include works by Liszt, Chopin, and Edward MacDowell.  Mrs. Snodgrass and Dr. Stacey Barelos, chair of piano studies at Missouri Southern, will collaborate on an original piano duet called “Name That Tune”.

Mrs. Snodgrass has written a medley arrangement of familiar classical orchestral and piano compositions and will challenge the audience to recognize each tune.

Also on the program, guest soloist, Hayley Mullins, 2012 recipient of the Debra Snodgrass Endowed Piano Scholarship, will play a piece by Maurice Ravel.

The 2013 winner of the Debra Snodgrass Scholarship will be awarded, and the program will end with Mrs. Snodgrass’ arrangement of “How Great Thou Art.”

The public is invited and admission is free.
