The upcoming edition of the Newsmakers  on KGCS-TV focuses on the development of the Career Path program in the Joplin School District.  Guests include Janie Jarrett, Career Path Facilitator, and Whitney Warren, Career Path Coordinator.

They discuss the program which involves students from elementary to high school. The Career Path program will give students at the new Joplin High School/Franklin Technology Center five general paths to pursue.

Wednesday, May 29 – 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 30 – 5:30 p.m.

Newsmakers will also air on KOAM-TV at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 1.

KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink.  The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
