turtleIn May, five Missouri Southern State University Education students had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. The trip was led and organized by Becky Gallemore.  Becky works with EF Tours to plan the trips and has led students on nearly thirty trips to locations all over the world.  The students expanded their knowledge about the world as they had a chance to explore and interact with the cultures and wildlife of Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.

They toured the rich history of Ecuador and experienced some of the natural beauty of the Galapagos Islands.

Some of their favorite experiences include standing on the equator, snorkeling with sea turtles, and meeting students at a local school.  All who went were very appreciative that they were able to be part of the trip and encourage anyone interested in international travel to consider joining one of the future trips.
