The Wellness Movie series at Missouri Southern State University will present the film “Despicable Me” at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 20 in Phelps Theatre on the first floor of the Beimdiek Recreation Center.

The film is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.

The movie is part of a series designed to encourage wellness and learning about wellness-related topics in a fun and entertaining manner. This semester’s focus is family/social wellness & mental/emotional wellness.

There will be free popcorn!  Guests may also bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverage.

“In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden deep beneath this home is a vast secret hideout.
