Two professors from Missouri Southern State University provide insight and share thoughts about the ongoing situation in the Middle East, in the upcoming Newsmakers interview program airing on KGCS-TV.

Dr. Conrad Gubera and Dr. Nic Nicoletti from the Social Science Department reflect on developments in Syria and other countries in the region.  “This is a timely topic, and the professors share insight on politics and society affecting the Middle East,” says Judy Stiles, Newsmakers host.

The program will air throughout the week of Sept. 30 on KGCS.  Airtimes include:

Sunday, Sept. 29 – 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 – 5:30 p.m.

Newsmakers also airs at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 on KOAM-TV.

KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems, including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink.  The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University
