The workshop “Starting a Small Business – the First Steps” will be held from 1:15 – 4:30 p.m. today (Friday, September 6) in Plaster Hall, Room 102.
There is no cost to attend.
This introductory workshop will provide you with an overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business. It is designed specifically for those who are thinking about starting a business. Participants will have an opportunity to assess their strengths and weaknesses, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements, and identify sources of financing. Each participant will receive a Start-up manual. This workshop will be offered several times during the semester.
