jake-gillThe Missouri Southern State University Student Activities Office is excited to announce that Jake Gill will perform a live acoustic set in the MSSU Lion’s Den from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Jake Gill and his band will serenade the Missouri Southern community as students, faculty, and staff take a break for lunch. Gill has been touring throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. In addition to these stops, he also recently opened for 2013 People Choice Awards’ Favorite Country Singer Jason Aldean in Tuttle Creek, Kansas.

Jake Gill boasts several impressive honors. In 2013, he was the NSAI Nashville Songwriters Winner as well as becoming the first ever artist to perform in all three stages of the Country Stampede. The event is sponsored by the Missouri Southern Campus Activities Board (CAB).

The Campus Activities Board is comprised of volunteer students who work throughout the school year with the Student Activities Office. CAB not only makes recommendations for what events to host on campus, but also helps to facilitate and advertise those events.

Accommodations related to a disability should be made to Landon Adams in Student Activities Office at (417) 625-9669 at least 72 hours prior to the events. Any additional questions regarding this event should also be directed to the MSSU Student Activities Office.
