The Missouri Southern State University Student Activities Office is excited to announce that Marvel Comics Editor, Legendary Comics Publisher Bill Rosemann will be speaking live at Taylor Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29.
The performance is free and open to the public. The performance will last approximately one hour.
Throughout Rosemann’s illustrious career in the world of comic books, he has served as a journalist, copy writer, script writer, marketing director, project manager and editor. In these roles, Rosemann has worked on a variety of works including comics involving Spider-man, Captain America, Ironman, Thor, Batman, Superman, and the Avengers.
As a part of this event, Bill Rosemann will also judge student submitted comic book entries. The top three submissions will receive direct feedback from Bill Rosemann on the night of the performance. The winning submission will receive a $40 MSSU Bookstore gift card.
The event is sponsored by the Missouri Southern Campus Activities Board (CAB). The event is one of many “Be a Hero” Homecoming Week festivities that is being sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.
The Campus Activities Board is comprised of volunteer students who work throughout the school year with the Student Activities Office. CAB not only makes recommendations for what events to host on campus, but also helps to facilitate and advertise those events.
