Graduating seniors Michaela Doerr-Sieler, Courtney Campbell, Miranda Blanchard and Carmen Ott traveled to Belize to student teach in the town of San Ignacio, the third largest city in Belize.

Through the courtesy of the U.S. Embassy staff in Belmopan, Belize, a short visit and briefing of embassy responsibilities and services was arranged.

During the visit, the students learned about the mission of the U.S. Embassy and how they servedAmerican interests and American citizens in foreign countries. An excellent briefing was provided by Regional Security Officer Lawrence Casselle and Information Management Officer Darrell Chapman. Denise Fuller, the ¬†embassy’s public affairs assistant, made the arrangements for the visit.
