The Missouri Southern State University Staff Senate met Wednesday, Aug. 20. The following issues were discussed:

Four State Heart Walk

Heather Arnold told Senators that the Four State Heart Walk will begin at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, inside Leggett & Platt Athletic Center and on an outdoor course if weather is nice.  She says Missouri Southern students, faculty, staff and retirees are encouraged to take part and to vie for awards. Last year, Pitt State made an impressive showing, winning several awards traditionally won by MSSU. Join or form a team to represent Missouri Southern and help fight heart disease. Food Harvest

Patty Holder reported that a total of 251 pounds of food were raised for the Ozark Food Harvest, thanks to generous donations by employees. The foodstuffs came from an effort across campus and from contributions brought to the recent employee picnic.

Printing services expanded

Chris Owens says the Campus Card Service Center department is now doing color printing.  Service is for campus only.  Departments, employees and students are encouraged to ask for a quote. Printing can be done for jobs up to 13 ” x 19″.  For information, contact printshop@mssu.edu

White polos still available

If you did not receive a free white Missouri Southern polo shirt, it’s not too late!  The free polos are available to all employees. Contact the Card Services Center Office on the bottom floor of Billingsly Student Center.
