A ribbon-cutting will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, in the atrium of Cornell Auditorium to announce that the HR program at Missouri Southern has aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management’s educational focus.
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recently announced that the university’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management with Human Resource Management Emphasis degree fully aligns with the organization’s “HR Curriculum and Guidebook Templates.”
“Dr. Nanette Philibert, Dr. John Groesbeck and Megan Douglas have been working on getting us aligned with SHRM and just receive notification last week,” said Sherry Noller, research associate for the Small Business and Technology Development Center.
The event will also observe the Center for Entrepreneurship’s kick-off for Global Entrepreneurship Week.
