Joplin, MO (SNS) – Attached, please find a list of winners from the Missouri Region 6 History Day, held earlier today at Missouri Southern State University.

Nearly 200 entries – including research papers, exhibits, performance, documentaries and websites – were submitted for this year’s event. The top three winners in each category are eligible to compete in the state National History Day contest, to be held on April 25 at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Participating schools included Appleton City R-2, Carthage Junior High, Carthage High School, Joplin High School, Joplin East Middle School, Joplin North Middle School, Joplin South Middle School, Neosho Christian School, Neosho Middle School, Neosho Junior High, Neosho High School, Seneca R-7 School, Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School and Wheaton R-3 School.
