The Missouri Southern State University Small Business & Technology Development Center will host two marketing seminars on Wednesday, April 22, hosted by nationally recognized speaker Eric Spellmann.
Spellmann is the founder, owner and president of Spellman & Associates, the largest online marketing and website design firm between Dallas and Denver. With worldwide clientele and a unique model of measuring online success, he has established his company as a leader in helping customers meet their online goals.
From 2 to 4:30 p.m., he will present “Customer Retention Via Social Media.”
He will explain the current social media environment, the demographic migrations taking place, and how you can take advantage of these facts when implementing an effective retention campaign.
From 5:30 to 8 p.m., Spellmann will present “How to Rank Well on Google.”
During his high-energy, low-tech presentation, he will explain how Google now evaluates websites and discuss ways business owners can rank better on the search engine.
Each of the seminars cost $49 per person and will be held in the Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center’s Cornell Auditorium. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. To pre-register, visit www.mssutraining.com and click on “View Events.” Payments for the seminars will also be taken at the door.
The seminars are sponsored by the Robert W. Plaster School of Business at MSSU, the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Joplin Convention & Visitors Bureau.
