The first lecture of the Spain Semester will be presented next week.
“Living Like a Spaniard: The Life of an English-Teaching ‘Guiri’” is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, in Webster Hall’s Corley Auditorium.
Have you ever dreamed of living in Spain or wonder how the lifestyle in Spain might be different than the United States? Kisa Clark, a graduate of Missouri Southern who is now a lecturer in the Communication Department, will provide insight into what life is like in Spain so that you will be a more prepared “guiri” (the colloquial Spanish name for foreigners) when you visit this beautiful European country.
Admission is free and open to the public.
