Faculty and staff are invited to participate in the Southern Safari travel club’s trip to Cuba, scheduled for May 18-25, 2017. cuba1

The price of the trip is $3,470, which includes roundtrip airfare from Joplin, all breakfasts and lunches, arrival dinner and farewell dinner, five nights’ family stay in Havana, two nights’ hotel stay in Trinidad, private bus and bilingual guide. You will not find a less expensive trip to Cuba anywhere! (Most providers are charging at least $1,000 or $1,500 more.)

The trip will also include a group of MSSU students who will be led by Dr. Bill Fischer, assistant professor of history. Dr. Fischer will be conducting orientation/informational classes about Cuba on Tuesday evenings from March 14 to May 16. Once in Cuba, the Southern Safari group and the students will share some of the same activities but also divide at times.
