Applications are now being accepted for the Children’s Lifetime Sports Academy, to be held June 5-8 at Missouri Southern.

Sponsored by the Department of Kinesiology, the event is open to all children ages 7-12. The goal of the academy is to teach the skills and promote the appreciation of activities that can be enjoyed for fun, health and fitness throughout life. Activities will include golf, bowling, fishing, archery, canoeing, racquet sports, disc games and rhythms.

A fee of $100 per child will cover the four days of instruction (from 12:30 to 5 p.m. each day), use of facilities and equipment, and a T-shirt. Children and grandchildren of MSSU faculty and staff will receive a $10 discount.

Registration will remain open until the camp is filled. To register, visit at http://www.mssu.edu/academics/education/kinesiology/index.php. Additional information about the academy is available on the Kinesiology web page.

If you would like a registration form through campus mail, please contact Brenda Hayes at ext. 9316 or Hayes-B@mssu.edu.
