Teacher Education raising funds for school impacted by Hurricane Harvey

In an effort to offer assistance to some of those affected by Hurricane Harvey, the Teacher Education Department at Missouri Southern has chosen to adopt Cypress Creek High School in Houston, Texas.

The department has been in touch with school personnel and they are thrilled to have a partner in this time of recovery.

The school needs gift cards that they can distribute to their students, families and staff who have suffered losses because of Harvey. Cash (or checks) are also being collected to buy gift cards.

Donations will be collected until Friday, Sept. 22, and may be delivered to Marcie Berens in Taylor Hall 232.

Please consider donating. This money will go directly to those who need it.
