Nominees sought for Superior Service Awards

Do you know a professional or classified staff member who diligently works to show RESPECT TO THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY including our students, personnel and facilities; exhibits a POSITIVE ATTITUDE in what they say and how they act; ensures PRIDE IN THEIR WORK by always doing their best; shows EXEMPLARY DEPENDABILITY in following through on requests and tasks; and provides EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, both in person and online?

If so, why not honor these remarkable individuals by nominating them for a 2017 Superior Service Award?

The Superior Service Award will be presented to one professional staff and one classified staff member. Only full-time, benefits-eligible employees with a minimum of one year of consecutive service and who have not received the award within the past five (5) years are eligible. A listing of candidates is attached.

Recipients are nominated by their peers and must reflect each of the five pads of the Lion Paw. All nominees will be acknowledged at the annual Staff Appreciation and Years of Service Brunch, with the 2017 Superior Service Award recipients also receiving an engraved plaque and $500 cash award made possible by the Missouri Southern Foundation for their outstanding service to the university, its student body and overall campus community.

You may submit a nominee by completing the online 2017 MSSU Superior Service Award Nomination Form. Printed forms are also available in the Human Resources office (HH 217). Deadline to submit nominees is Thursday, Nov. 30.
