Two upcoming overseas trips will allow the Lion community to see the world.
Departing on June 6, the trip will feature four nights in Rome, four nights in Florence and three nights in Venice. The Italian adventure is open to anyone – alumni, current and retired faculty/staff and friends of MSSU – who has a desire to see the world and experience new cultures firsthand.
Cost is $4,259 per person for double occupancy.
* A previously scheduled trip to South Africa has been canceled, but a journey to Japan has been added in its place.
Set for June 8-17, the stops will include Tokyo, Osaka and Hiroshima, and visits to the Sensoji Temple, the Imperial Palace East Garden, the Meiji Shrine, the Golden Pavilion. Participants will also travel on the bullet train – the fastest train in the world.
A meeting will be held to discuss the trip at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, in Room 113 of Taylor Hall.
