Joplin, MO (SNS) – The 24th annual Glenn Dolence Leadership and Service Awards were announced during a ceremony held Thursday, April 16, at Missouri Southern State University.
Sponsored by Student Affairs and Omicron Delta Kappa, the awards are named in honor of Dr. Glenn D. Dolence, retired vice president for Student Affairs at Missouri Southern.
The awards are given to graduating seniors who have completed 90 hours at Missouri Southern and who have made significant leadership/service contributions to the university. The purpose of the awards is to formally recognize students who have made a difference in campus organizations, student employment, student services or athletics.
Senior Cara Gooch received the Leader of the Year Award.
