Student-athletes from Missouri Southern ensured that many locals in need will have food on their table this holiday season.
The sixth annual Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat drive collected 6,300 canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Students canvassed area neighborhoods to solicit the donations, which were delivered to Souls Harbor in downtown Jopin on Wednesday, Nov. 1.
“Our student-athletes did an amazing job this year, collecting more than 1,000 items than last year,” said Randon Coffey, director of athletic marketing and sponsorships. “I am blown away by the effort and dedication they showed.”
