Three graduating art majors will have their work showcased in a Senior Exhibit set to open Monday, May 6, in the Spiva Gallery at Missouri Southern State University.

The show, which will run through Saturday, May 11, will feature a unique body of work from each student.

James Stark, from Miami, Okla., will offer a large scale graphic design installation. Works by Sydney Buffington, from Mount Vernon, will center on a theme of companionship. Mary Strong, of Sarcoxie, will focus on “Best Practices in UX and Digital Marketing for a Non-Profit.” Elaine Parrigon, of Pierce City, uses art to look at education.

A reception will be offered from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the gallery. Light refreshments will be served and the artists will be available to answer questions about their work.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
