Complete Director’s Cup Standings

Joplin, Mo. — The Missouri Southern athletics department is in 28th place in the latest Learfield Sports Director’s Cup Standings released today by the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA). 

The Director’s Cup ranks Division II programs nationwide on their performances in NCAA postseason events (regional and national competition). 

The Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field teams placed 21st and 33rd, respectively at the latest Division II Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala. That, coupled with the post-season finishes of both the cross country teams in the fall have the Lions in 28th place, nationally. 

Southern is the second-highest ranked MIAA school with Central Missouri coming in at 22nd.
