Joplin, Mo. — The Missouri Southern baseball program has earned the third seed in the 2013 MIAA Baseball Tournament and will play host to the sixth seed Northeastern State this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Joe Becker Stadium.
The Lions finished the regular season with a 29-18 overall mark and were 23-16 in MIAA play. They took three out of four games in the series with the RiverHawks (27-21, 25-20 MIAA) this season.
Games on Thursday and Friday will begin at 5 pm each night and Saturday’s game, if necessary, will be played at 1 pm. Admission will be $5 with children under six being admitted free.
