Un.It Unescoitalia: The World Heritage Sites in the Work of 14 Photographers” will be on display through 5 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 6) at the Spiva Art Gallery at MSSU. Admission is free.
The Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents the exhibition highlighting historic cities, monuments, works of art, sculpture, and landscapes located in Italy UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Taken by some of the most notable Italian contemporary photographers, the travelling exhibition comprises more than 150 photographs taken by 14 artists considered to be some of the best contemporary Italian photographers.
After the exhibition leaves MSSU, it will go to Reno (http://arteitaliausa.org/blog/art/unesco.html) and then San Francisco (http://museoitaloamericano.org/category/exhibits-collections/upcoming-exhibition/).
