The Super Leader Program is a joint effort between Missouri Southern State University and the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network to identify, cultivate and motivate future community leaders currently enrolled in college.
Now in its third season, 10 students were accepted into the semester-long program. Students will complete seven total sessions that include: Leadership Development Day, Marketing and Media, and Advertising Day, Small Business and Economic Development Day, Non-Profit and Civic Organization Day, Manufacturing and International Business Day, Healthcare and Business Day, and Science and Technology Day. Sessions include facility tours and presentations from a variety of representatives from organizations associated with the day’s topic.

The fall program will conclude with an induction ceremony on November 23 at 2:00 in the BSC Ballroom, all faculty and staff are welcome to attend the ceremony. Students interested in participating in Spring Super Leaders Program can apply at http://www.mssu.edu/career/student-super-leaders.php.
