Kansas City, Mo. – The Missouri Southern Lions soccer team had 14 players named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Wednesday.

To be eligible for the honor roll, a student athlete must have a cumulatve grade point average of at least a 3.0 and have at least two terms of attendance at the school.

Named to the honor roll for the Lions are all six seniors from this fall’s squad, along with two juniors and six sophomores. Abby Risner, Tiffany Laughlin, Megan Jenisch, Dana Wilhelm, Kelly White and Samantha Zoltanski all depart having earned great achievement on the field as well as in the classroom.

In addition, juniors Beth Hammons and Kelsey Haist and sophomores Karley Thomas, Hannah Ishmael, Michaela Altvater, Kayla Gajewski, Kimmy Hulse and Kacie Hulse were named to the honor roll for Southern.
