Katie Aranda, an outreach specialist with Missouri Southern’s Talent Search program, will serve as a co-presenter during the 36th annual MO-KAN-NE Conference, to be held April 2-4 in Kansas City.

MO-KAN-NE is a chapter of the Mid-America Association of Education Opportunity Program Personnel, one of 10 regional associations in the country that form the Council for Opportunity in Education. The council represents TRIO programs – Upward Bound, Project Stay and Talent Search – nationwide.

Along with Kellee Harris, an academic adviser with the University of Kansas, Aranda will present “Couponing 101: The Secrets to Couponing Success.”

“It’s part of a financial literacy grant,” said Aranda. “It allows us to talk about credit and budgeting, such as putting together this workshop on how families and students can save money.”
