Graduation ceremonies for Missouri Southern State University and three area high schools will be broadcast by KGCS-TV over the next two weeks.
The coverage begins with live coverage of the Missouri Southern commencement ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday, May 10.
The 9:30 a.m. ceremony features the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Health Sciences. The noon ceremony features the Schools of Business and Education. Those ceremonies will be rebroadcast the following week: the 9:30 ceremony at 7 p.m. Monday, May 12, and the noon ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.
Area high-school ceremonies are also being covered by KGCS-TV. They begin with live coverage of the Carl Junction High School ceremony at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 11. That ceremony will be rebroadcast at 8 p.m. Monday, May 19. The Webb City High School commencement ceremony will be recorded Friday, May 16, and broadcast Wednesday, May 21. The Joplin High School graduation will be aired live at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 18.
