The Advising, Counseling & Testing Services office recently received recognition from the Air Force for providing CLEP exams to veterans and active servicemen and women. 
The College-Level Examination Program is a national standardized test that gauges the mastery of college-level materials, said Kelly Wilson, director of ACTS.
“We typically charge for taking the test, but we waive the fee for veterans and those on active duty,” she said.
A representative from the Air Force recruiting service presented the office with a certificate of appreciation for their support of those in the Armed Forces. Missouri Southern is ranked as a Military Friendly School. Published annual, the Military Friendly Schools and Employers lists recognize institutions with leading opportunities for military service members and spouses.
