Joplin, MO (SNS) – The Missouri Southern Athletic Department will introduce the new head football coach for the Lions during a press conference at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, on the main floor of the George A. Spiva Library.

The hiring follows a national search undertaken after February’s resignation of coach Daryl Daye, who took a defensive coordinator position at NCAA Division I Northwestern State University in Louisiana. Current Missouri Southern offensive coordinator HT Kinney served as interim head coach while the search was underway.

The media and public are invited to attend Wednesday’s announcement and have a chance to meet the new coach.
