The Sunday Funday swim event for alumni will be held June 28 at the Cunningham Park Aquatic Center.
A family swim event, ice-cream deliveries and a trip to a Springfield Cardinals game are among the summer activities planned by the Alumni Association at Missouri Southern.
Sunday Funday will be held from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at the Aquatic Center at Cunningham Park. Alumni and family members can swim for free. Reservations can be made by calling 417-659-5466.
The Alumni Association will partner with Jack’s Ice Cream for scholarship fundraisers in Joplin on Wednesday, July 8, and Carthage on Thursday, July 9. Business owners can call ahead for deliveries to be made to their location.
“If companies want an ice cream delivery, they can call ahead by Monday, July 6, at 417-659-5466,” said Lee Elliff Pound, director of the Alumni Association.
On Saturday, July 25, alumni can attend a Springfield Cardinals game as the team takes on the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. The game will start at 6:10 p.m. at Hammons Field in Springfield, Mo. The event is almost booked, but there are still openings available for Springfield alumni and family. Call for details.
