Joplin, MO (SNS) – The television series “Window on the World” continues its look at study abroad at Missouri Southern State University, with two new programs set to air in the coming weeks.
The programs feature a look at trips to France and Spain by business students and another to Costa Rica by students in the Biology Department.
The program focusing on France and Spain includes interviews with Dr. Chad Stebbins, director of the Institute of International Studies at Missouri Southern, and students Kierstyn Hillman, Stephen Holman and Kyle Prisock. The interview about the trip to Costa Rica includes interviews with Biology profesors Michael Kennedy and Dr. Anna Rinner, along with students Stephen Atkinson, Eli Moran, Liz Pirtle and JeTaime Hovis. During both programs, guests highlight their trips and the impact of study abroad opportunities.
Communication major Kristen Hanna hosts both shows.
The France and Spain program is scheduled to air at the following times:
Sunday, June 28 – 9 p.m.
Monday, June 9 – 9 p.m.
Wednesday, July 1 – 6 p.m.
The Costa Rica program will air at:
Sunday, July 5 – 9 p.m.
Monday, July 6 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday, July 8 – 6 p.m.

KGCS programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22, as well as on regional cable television systems. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
