“Gimme Shelter”
The Wellness Program will screen the film “Gimme Shelter” at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in Phelps Theatre in Billingsly Student Center.
The film is based on the true story of a pregnant 16-year-old girl who struggles for survival while living on the streets. Her journey leads her to a suburban shelter for homeless teens where she must break the shackles of her past and embrace the future.
Rated PG-13, the movie stars Vanessa Hudgens, Brenan Fraser and Rosario Dawson. Admission is free.
