“Creed” – a spinoff of the Rocky series – will be screened at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in Billingsly Student Center’s Phelps Theatre.
Adonis Johnson, who never knew his father – boxing legend Apollo Creed – seeks out his father’s friend, Rocky Balboa, to train him. With Rocky in his corner, Adonis learns what it means to be a true fighter and step out of his father’s shadow.
Rated PG-13, it stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone and Tessa Thompson.
Presented by the Campus Activities Board, it is free and open to the campus community – students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Free candy and drinks will be provided.
