‘Hands Over the City’
The International Film Festival will continue with the 1963 Italian film “Hands Over the City” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, in Plaster Hall’s Cornell Auditorium.
Based on actual events, director Franceso Rosi’s film is about a scheming land developer who pursued profits unscrupulously and became the center of a scandal when one of his buildings collapsed with fatal results. It was the winner of the 1963 Venice Film Festival Golden Lion.
