Frisco, Texas — Missouri Southern senior guard Taevaunn Prince and scored ten points as his West All-Stars fell 120-107 tonight to the East in the Reese’s NABC Division II All-Star Game.
The game was being held in conjunction with the NCAA Division II Elite Eight at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas.
Prince was one of ten players named to the West team roster with another ten being named to the east squad. A pair of former MIAA coaches were leading each squad as Prince’s West squad was coached by former Pittsburg State coach Gene Iba and the East team was headed up by former Northeastern State coach Larry Gipson.
Prince’s West squad was down 63-56 at the half and the East out scored the West 57-51 in the second half to take the game. Prince scored ten points in the game, going 4-7 from the field and 2-3 from long-range. He added three rebounds and four assists in 21 minutes of play.
