The Southern Jazz Orchestra will present its “Swing in Spring” concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in Corley Auditorium at Missouri Southern.

The concert will feature guest trombonist, Dr. Phillip C. Wise, as well as vocalist Erin Marston.
Wise, an accomplished trombonist, is a professor music at Missouri Southern. He currently performs regularly with his jazz quartet and coaches the university jazz combos. Marston is a sophomore music major from Carthage.
The jazz orchestra is under the direction of Freddie Green II. Selections will include “Magic Flea,” “Caravan,” “Polka Dots and Moonbeams,” “Beautiful Love” and “Route 66.” Admission is free and open to the public.
