Joplin, MO (SNS) – Forty-eight students from throughout the region formally entered the Honors Program at Missouri Southern State University during a signing ceremony held April 20.

Incoming Honors students were invited to pen their intent to join the program in front of their families. Each student was then welcomed into the program by Dr. Alan Marble, university president; Dr. Paula Carson, provost/vice president for academic affairs; and Dr. Michael Howarth, director of the Honors Program.
