
“Billy Liar”
The British Film Festival will continue with “Billy Liar” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, in Plaster Hall’s Cornell Auditorium.
Directed by John Schlesinger, the 1963 film is about a hapless, working-class young man from the Midlands who can’t stop fantasizing, as he is torn between two fiancees (one played by Julie Christie and the demands of his job at an undertaker’s firm.
Admission is free and open to the public.
