MSSU Wellness has announced the Spring 2017 lineup for the Live Well Luncheon Series.
The Live Well Luncheons are held at noon on the last Thursday of each month in Room 309 of Billingsly Student Center. Through a partnership with Mercy Hospital, doctors with insight and information serve as guest speakers on a variety of topics. Lunch is provided and the menu changes every month.
Jan. 26: Dr. Randy Brown, cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgeon. Topic – Heart Health and Heart Procedures
Feb. 23: Dr. Eli Xhaferi, orthopedic surgeon. Topic – TBD.
March 30: Dr. W.C. Dandridge Jr., chief of surgical services. Topic – Genetic Testing and High Risk Breast Cancer.
April 27: Dr. R. Hilton McDonald and/or Dr. Lea Humphrey. Topic – ENT/Allergy
May 25: Dr. Laks Chekuri, psychiatrist. Topic – Stress Management.
June 29: Dr. Health Merkley, OB/GYN. Topic – Women’s Health Issues.
