Joplin, Mo. — The Missouri Southern athletic department has released the schedule of baseball and softball games that will be broadcast this season on the ESPN Joplin Radio Network. 
All games broadcasted will be carried live on 101.3 FM and AM 1560 and will be streamed live on espnjoplin.com. In total, 15 regular-season baseball games and five softball contests will be carried on the network. Justin Maskus will provide play-by-play on all games carried. Broadcasts will feature a 15-minute pregame show.
The baseball Lions will be the first to air with both of the season-opening road games at Christian Brothers being carried live on February 7-8. A non-conference game against Truman will be the lone other non-MIAA game carried, while most of the MIAA Saturday home games will be carried. Mid-week games against Central Oklahoma (3/29) and Pittsburg State (4/12 and 4/26) will also be featured, as well as each game against Central Missouri and Northeastern State.
Softball will see games against Pittsburg State, Southwest Baptist, Missouri Western, Northwest Missouri and Northeastern State air.
