The 55th annual International Film Festival will continue with “Hobson’s Choice” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Plaster Hall’s Cornell Auditorium.
The 1954 British film from director David Lean stars Charles Laughton as a self-centered, tyrannical boot maker who lords it over his three grown daughters until one decides to rebel. Critic David Quinlan recognized the comedy as the “most delightful version of the famous story.”
Admission is free and open to the public.
