The MSSU Music Department is proud to present guest artist pianist Dr. Jason Terry in recital at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Corley Auditorium.
Dr. Terry’s concert will feature works by Chopin, Respighi, Ravel, Balakirev and Ginastera. He will also perform three movements from “Preludes in Jazz Style” by Nikolai Kasputin.
Terry graduated from MSSU in 2009. He received his doctorate from the University of South Carolina and is currently teaching at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
Terry’s performance is made possible by a grant from the Vivian León Fund for the Musical Arts.
The event is free and open to the public.
