MOSO Talent, Missouri Southern’s new employee referral program, is set to begin on July 1.

The program offers all benefit-eligible, full- and part-time employees the opportunity to help bring new talent to campus and get paid for their efforts.

For every qualified candidate, external applicants who meet the position requirements, an employee refers they will receive $10 in Lion Bucks. If that candidate is interviewed, the referring employee will receive $50. If the candidate is hired, the referring employee will receive $100. That’s a total of $160 employees can earn while helping the university build a strong and talented workforce.

To participate in the program, employees will need to request qualified candidates list them as the referring employee on their initial online application. This has to be completed at the time the candidate applies for the position; a referring employee’s name cannot be added after the application has been submitted. All candidate referrals must be for positions posted on or after the program start date.

To help kick-start the program, the first 25 employees to refer a qualified candidate will receive a MOSO Talent T-shirt.
