Kansas City, Mo. — Missouri Southern pitcher Zach Parish has been named the MIAA Co-Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office on Feb. 27.

Parish shares the honor with Mason Green of Central Missouri. It is the second week in a row the Lions have had or shared MIAA Pitcher of the Week honors as Will Bausinger won last week.

Parrish helped the Lions to a 3-0 record this past weekend at Central Oklahoma. The junior from Tahlequah started game one and went 8.1 innings, striking out 14 and walking just one, while scattering five hits and allowing just one run in the first inning.
