The university will again partner with the city of Joplin to host the annual Fourth of July celebration on Thursday, July 4.
The event will include food trucks, vendors, inflatables and live music by The Mixtapes. Fred Hughes Stadium will open for those attending at 7 p.m. The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 9:45 p.m.
Campus employees and guests will again have access to the North End Zone facility starting at 8 p.m. Complimentary desserts and beverages will be provided, as well as a VIP view of the fireworks.
