“It’s really a simple step.”
Those five words from Financial Aid Director Becca Diskin sum up the new enrollment confirmation requirement for all MSSU students.
It lives on LioNet, can be completed in a matter of clicks and lets the registrar’s office know if a student intends to actually be in the class in which he or she enrolled.
“It started this summer with a soft rollout and was successful,” said Diskin. “It’s just the final check for students that they’re here and ready and ready to start classes.”
The opening confirmation date for the fall semester is Aug. 1. Students will go through the process at the beginning of every semester.
“I can’t thank our IT department enough,” said Diskin. “They’ve been great and played a major role in making this happen.”
