Missouri Southern State University is the proud sponsor of “Good Morning Joplin” (GMJ) on Thursday, September 26. The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly breakfast and networking event will begin at 7:15 a.m. inside the North End Zone Facility, and will run roughly until 8:45 a.m.
MSSU employees are welcome to attend for a discounted ticket price. Normally $14 (which includes breakfast and giveaways), Missouri Southern employees will be charged $12.
GMJ also involves a number of speakers from the business community who have one minute of fame – or what’s been dubbed, “A Minute at the Mic” – to highlight what they have to offer. Many business representatives get creative with their 60-second presentations.
