Downtown Joplin was filled with green and gold on Sept. 19 as Missouri Southern hosted the monthly Third Thursday event. Activities included music from the marching band and jazz orchestra, fresh meat pies courtesy of Jay Jay Wolf and opportunities to feed George, Dr. David Penning’s giant tortoise.
